Following the end of the legal requirement to wear a face covering in enclosed public spaces in England from 19 July, we inform you that the regulation to wear a face covering remains in place for all customers travelling with Eurotunnel Le Shuttle Freight. 

Our customers are therefore required to continue wearing a face covering throughout their journey, including:-

• on our buses,
• in our Freight Driver Centres 
• on-board the Club Cars during the whole duration of the crossing
• at Le Truck Village and in the Centre Douane SIVEP (CDS) buildings in France

All our staff are also instructed to continue wearing face coverings during their shifts.

We are dedicated to protecting our customers and staff and will therefore continue to rely on self-distancing, wearing face coverings and using hand sanitisers. Our commitment and actions were recently recognised and validated by the 2 external accredited organisations AFNOR and TÜV Rheinland with the award of COVID-19 compliance certifications for our Le Shuttle services.

We will be reinforcing this communication to all our customers on our terminals but we would be grateful if you could also communicate this important message to your colleagues and drivers.
