Stena Line has distributed the following message to it's customers; 

Ongoing to weather disruptions, Holyhead Port is currently becoming heavily congested. The following controls for entry to the port have been put in place for the time being:

• Only traffic holding a confirmed reservation will be allowed entry to the port
• Traffic holding a confirmed reservation will not be permitted access to the port more than 4 hours prior to scheduled sailing
• Standby/Waitlist traffic will not be permitted entry to the port until their booking is confirmed (standby/waitlist traffic can wait at the Truckstop in Holyhead while they seek a confirmed reservation)

Stena Line offer a number of routes across the Irish Sea: Holyhead-Dublin, Fishguard-Rosslare, Birkenhead-Belfast, Heysham-Belfast and Cairnryan-Belfast.
