"Due to recent congestion issues at our 12 Quays Terminal in Birkenhead we have reviewed our process for accepting delivery of trailers to our terminals.

There will now be a 12-hour rule for accepting trailers and unaccompanied vehicles on to the port – vehicles will be only accepted within 12 hours of their departure time. This will be for confirmed bookings only; no waitlist bookings will be accepted on to the port.

All bookings must have the relevant customs information (GMR/PBN) uploaded in the Stena Line ‘Freight Portal’ prior to arrival at the port.

In addition, any booking containing hazardous goods must be processed and confirmed back from the reservations office before presenting vehicles at the port."
