When making a booking for an unaccompanied vehicle, please check whether it is equipped with an ignition interlock device, breathalyser or similar equipment.

This device requires the driver to blow into a mouthpiece to measure breath alcohol concentration before the engine can start.

If the vehicle is fitted with such a device, you must provide two new, sealed mouthpiece tubes. These tubes are required for port staff to safely operate the vehicle when driving it on and off the vessel.

Failure to provide the required tubes may result in the vehicle not being shipped or being returned to the departure port.
